AFAMMER (Association of Rural Families and Women), with funding from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , is organizing the free event "43 Years of Progress for Rural Women: Commitment, Leadership and Empowerment" , a space for reflection, learning and support so that rural women can create and consolidate their own initiatives, strengthen their economic autonomy and improve their inclusion in the labor market and their entrepreneurship.

The conference will be held in Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña) and will address issues such as women's leadership in nutrition and longevity; rural female entrepreneurship; and the future challenges and opportunities of rural areas.
