Food quality—an aspiration increasingly shared by producers and consumers—is the responsibility of the entire value chain, from crops and farms to the final product on shelves and in markets. In line with the Farm to Fork strategy, security of supply must be compatible with a food system that is fair to its producers and, at the same time, healthy and environmentally friendly.

Within this framework, the PAC Network develops actions to foster processes capable of generating healthier and more sustainable food, supporting more direct relationships between agricultural producers and consumers, differentiated quality strategies, and the associations and cooperatives of farmers and ranchers, the first and most important link in the agri-food chain.
