PAC Network Conference “Meeting of women who sow the future: agroecology and sustainable rural tourism”

The CAP Network promotes this event as a meeting place for real experiences, technical knowledge and local stakeholders, to promote agroecological projects led by women and explore new opportunities for economic diversification in rural areas, through ecotourism, environmental education and other activities complementary to farming.

Organizes

This event is organized by the CAP Network belonging to the General Sub-Directorate of Agricultural Policy Planning, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) , in collaboration with   ADER La Palma.

Target audience

The event is aimed at farmers, livestock breeders, sustainable tourism and ecotourism professionals, sector technicians, research centers, cooperatives, administrations and other organizations interested in agroecological projects with economic diversification activities, especially in the Canary Islands and the rural island environment.

The event will be in person and will be held at:

September 9th: Ecofinca Nogales . Calle Viña Grande con Nogales, 1, 38714, Puntallana, La Palma (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands).

The organization has planned a working day that will combine technical presentations, dialogue between experiences, networking spaces and a farm visit, in order to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and the creation of networks between rural women, agroecological projects, administrations and entities linked to rural development.

We encourage you to attend the event and share it with anyone who might be interested. It will be an opportunity to learn firsthand about success stories related to agroecology, women's participation in rural areas, and the sustainable diversification of farms, as well as to connect with people and projects involved in promoting these initiatives.
